Ah, the Adult Video News Awards! The Oscars for the adult video industry this year was an overdose of porn. The ceremony for the 32nd AVN Awards was held on January 24 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Paradise, Nevada. The ballroom was filled with handsome studs and gorgeous starlets, all waiting to see who's won what. Oh, and a giant sex toy-branded blimp circled the place all night. Fun, huh? The coveted Best New Starlet and Female Performer of the Year awards went to Carter Cruise and Anikka Albrite respectively. Albrite said that not only was her mother supportive of her career, she was even in the audience that night. And also, Anikka's husband, Mick Blue, won the Male Performer of the Year title.
